But don't underestimate it.
You're still walking uphill for a significant distance.

The tower is famous for its series of 35 ramps leading upward through much of the historic structure.
As you climb, openings along the route provide changing views and occasional opportunities to stop.

Take your time and let faster visitors pass if necessary.

For most reasonably mobile visitors, the climb is manageable.
But it still requires physical effort.
You're walking continuously uphill through the tower before reaching the upper viewing area.

Many children find the tower more engaging than spending the entire visit inside a historic church.

Older children interested in castles, towers or history may particularly enjoy it.

During hotter periods, I'd favour:
